The Long Way Home

As New Zealanders, we love a weekend road-trip, a “Tiki Tour”, a “Roadie”. We start young and travel our beautiful country our whole lives. And why wouldn’t we, we are spoilt for choice with our countryside & landscapes.

My playlist gets bigger with each promising sky.

Etched on the landscape, with every turn the road finds my way back to you. 

I have taken many road trips up and down New Zealand, photographing hills, barns, lighthouses and everything else. These photos are the inspiration for my landscape paintings and this latest exhibition takes in simple scenes from the deep south to back up north, where I live.

“The long Way Home” celebrates special landmarks from Stewart Island to Murawai. “The Long Way Home” Will be online from 8pm Friday 28th October.
