Kylie’s pieces have been snapped up quickly at every show with us, and there is no wonder as to why. “Tranquillity” is the word that comes to mind when you view her gorgeous art.
A 2007 graduate of the Elam School of Fine Arts, Kylie is an eager skill-builder. Winner of the Elam Hahnemuhle Printmaking Award in her final year, she has gone on to exhibit widely in solo and group exhibitions, primarily working in lithograph prints and acrylic on board.
In creating her landscapes, Kylie thinks beyond the view to its personal connections to people. Travelling coast to countryside, Kylie documents and reproduces breath-taking scenes. Her work consists of both paint and print, exploring the subtle variation of colour, light, and form. The results? Stunningly atmospheric. Hers are landscapes that call you to share your space with them.
2022 saw Kylie having a very successful show, "Luminous", right here in the gallery. The original paintings and lithographs she exhibited went down an absolute treat. Kylie’s work is a siren song—we guarantee you will find it difficult to leave the gallery without one of her pieces in-hand. Kylie is available for commissions through Turua.
