I was lucky enough to grow up considering the sunny slopes of Mt Hobson as part of my backyard.There are 5 ways up Ohinerau Mt Hobson if you don’t count sneaking through the Shneidermans’ garden…Regardless, there was only one way you’d ever come home - covered in grass stains, red dirt and bits of cow poo after practicing your cowpat discus. And maybe a bit wet if you’d been in a cattle trough. These 3 pieces revisit the endless expeditions and adventures I had up this special hill as a kid.
