An ode to these beautiful materials and how wonderful they are to work with. The black clay is silky smooth and a enjoyable to create forms from. Changing hue throughout the process. This glazing process has been a journey of discovery, with it’s wonderful variables and has helped create a new direction for future works. The woven works in this series waited months before they were paired with the perfect waxed cord. A series made just for the pleasure of it.
