Made from corrugated iron, waxed cord and mercerised thread.
This iron was rescued from Maungawhau Mt Eden, Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. It came from an old villa that would have had many stories to tell. Gilly has used vertical yarn wrapping to make these crosses and the iron sing. This is only the second large cross Gilly has made - while it's a lot more work to cut, Gilly loves the larger scale.
