Made from corrugated iron, waxed cord and mercerised thread
The iron was rescued from Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. Some pieces are quite fragile and some are strong and brutal - which gives the work a lovely mix of strength and beauty. This work reflects the power of the Southern Cross in our culture - it's how we all got here in the first place and its our guiding light.
