Figures and fragments of the natural world appear within layered compositions, creating a sense of memory, movement and connection.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003cspan lang=\"EN-GB\"\u003eThe works range from intimate pieces through to larger 1000mm x 1000mm paintings, with the collection building in intensity as it progresses.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003e\u003cspan lang=\"EN-GB\"\u003e“\u003ci\u003eThe Afterlight\u003c\/i\u003e is about renewal,” says Hoby Scutt. “It’s not about returning to what was but emerging into something new.
